Real reward for writing articles

Here in WSO2 where I work, we are always encouraged to write articles, tutorials, case studies etc. We are even given a financial reward for doing so.But the real reward for writing articles is the feedback you get in the mailing lists. I was so happy to see this in the Apache Rampart list and this in the Apache Axis2 list. But I think I am in the writer's block :( and it is so hard to start writing more articles.
